Refractometers
A refractometer is a measuring device used to determine the total solids in any liquid solution. It works by magnifying the solids and measuring how much light is blocked from entering a prism. When used on metalworking fluids, we can determine the amount of solids and the optimum coolant level.
Most applications require a concentration of 5-10%; at this level, the coolant will contain adequate amounts of extreme pressure additives, rust protection, defoamer, lubricity, biocides, and fungicides. Improper concentration can lead to poor tool life, rust, bacteria, foul odor, and lack of tramp oil rejection, as well as foam and possible skin irritation.
When coolant concentrations are properly maintained, superior tool life, longevity of sump life, excellent rust protection, and good tramp oil rejection can be achieved. A refractometer can help you keep your machines running cleaner and longer!
Skimmers
Oil skimmers have one simple purpose, that being to remove oils from water and water-based liquids. The oil, which floats on top of the liquid, clings to the moving skimming surface while the water-based liquid does not. The skimming surface, covered in oil, travels away from the liquid to wiper blades that remove the oil. The skimmed oil is then stored for recycling or disposal.

Proportioners
Drum or wall mounted proportioners automatically mix concentrates with water and dispense the diluted solution into any container. Manual mixing of concentrates with water is time consuming and imprecise; the strength of the diluted solution may be too strong one time and too weak the next. Automatic dilution takes this variability out, so the concentrate consistently delivers maximum performance.
Our proportioners use water power, not electricity, so concentrates don't have to be located near outlets, just within a hose's reach of a water source. Our proportioners are built with high quality chemically resistant materials and have established a reputation for long life in demanding industrial environments, so they're inexpensive to operate and maintain.
Storage and Dispensing Systems
Our stackable poly tank systems make liquid storage neat, clean, and convenient, contributing to an overall better working environment. Tanks are available in 70, 120, 180, and 240 gallon sizes that can be mixed in any combination.
They are made from high density, UL rated,food grade polyethylene which allows you to see fluid levels at all times, eliminating product shortages and down times. Large “easy fill” openings for bulk delivery are compatible with all major brands of pumps and accessories.
